Dr. Busch grew up in a military family moving around the United States and abroad. He received his undergraduate degree in Microbiology and Cell Science with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Florida in 1998. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine from The University of Florida College of Dentistry in 2004 and his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas in 2007. Dr. Busch's post-graduate training included an Internship in General Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern from 2007-2008. He successfully completed a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2010 at the University of Southwestern in Dallas. Before moving to central Illinois, Dr. Busch practiced full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery in Texas including a position as an Assistant Professor at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX.
