Dr. Schroeder is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He grew up in Moscow, Idaho where he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Idaho, completing a double major in Biochemistry and Microbiology. He graduated from the University of Florida College of Dentistry and completed his oral and maxillofacial surgical training at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics where he also earned a master’s degree with research thesis focused on bone biology and dental implants. Dr. Schroeder maintains a relationship with the University of Iowa as an adjunct clinical teaching faculty member.
Dr. Schroeder is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He serves on the Orofacial Anomalies Team who is affiliated with OSF St. Francis Medical Center and Easter Seals. He is the Director of the Central Illinois International Team for Implantology Study Club and the past President of the Peoria District Dental Society. Dr. Schroeder is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Illinois Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Dr. Schroeder enjoys spending time with his kids, the outdoors, and participates in various sporting activities.
